As I mentioned in an earlier post, we chose to celebrate "Eli Day" (the day his adoption was finalized) as a family doing something fun. Per his request, we took him to the Springfield zoo. *side note - Springfield zoo was ridiculously expensive for the poor quality of a zoo it was... however, there was NO ONE there so we practically had the zoo to ourselves. That was kind of cool!* It was pretty cold that day but at least the sun was shining and we bundled up. Regardless, Eli had a great time and we really enjoyed the day together.
