Adoption Update

Taking the good with the bad - - it is finally good to know that Julie's baby (our baby) is safe and well, but it hurts to know he's not ours.  We can now only pray for the family that has him and for his future.  God's plan is very confusing to us right now but we are optimistic that going into 2014 is going to be good things!

Here is our January update from Ashlene:

Happy New Year & Merry Christmas! I hope you have had a marvelous holiday season. We appreciated your positive feedback regarding our name change and are pleased to announce we are officially: Adoption Center of Hope

Our website & email addresses will be changed shortly and I know you will love the new format! The radio will also be starting this month and we are very excited about this new platform we will have available to showcase our amazing hopeful adoptive families.... YOU!

We spoke with Julie this week and she informed us that the baby was born and was healthy. She said she signed him over to the county because they would not let her take him out of the hospital because he tested positive (she did not elaborate) She told us she is happily living on the streets again and not to worry about her. So no worrying but obviously praying is always a good thing. Your grace during this time of uncertainty has been so inspiring to us and we thank you for allowing us to guide you on this journey.

On to positive things now...December has typically been a slower month for us but this year it was a steady month. We have met several amazing birthmothers and are working with them in various stages of their adoption plan. Currently your profile is out with 4 new birthmothers all on the west coast their due dates range from 5 weeks to 18 weeks! 1 birthmother from last month had still not chosen a family.

{Mr. Eli, I just wanted to update you and let you know that mission baby brother/sister is still under way and we plan on completing this mission very soon. Thank you for your patience!}

We continue to pray & work for you every day. The holidays can be a tough time and we understand so please do not hesitate to reach out if you need someone to talk to. Know that your "call" is coming and it is all according to God's timing. His will for your life is perfect and while right now it seems so uncertain you can rest assured he has a reason for this time of waiting.

God Bless

Hugs

Ashlene

Please continue to pray with us and for us.  Pray that when we get "the call" we'll know and hear God's will for whether we should say "yes" or "no" to a situation.  Pray for the mothers that are making decisions right now.

Thanks and Love to all...
