25 Days of Christmas - the end...

We accomplished 20 out of the 24... I'd say that's pretty good!!  The 4 we didn't accomplish were towards the end and (not thinking) I made them harder than the earlier ones.  Lesson learned... won't do it that way again next year!  It was really fun and it made each day enjoyable.  I loved Eli's age this year because he really got into things and wanted to participate in all things Christmas, Santa, baby Jesus.......  now, however, we are having a hard time helping his understand that Christmas is over, we won't sing every Christmas song known to man before bedtime and "Santa" won't be coming for another year.  ha ha! 

Day:

14 - Have a family Christmas movie night with treats (did not accomplish this)
15 - Drive around town looking at Christmas lights (did not accomplish this, per say)
16 - Choose a special treat (Mommy and Eli went to Sonic for Happy Hour)
17 - Go to the Care Group Christmas party
18 - Bake Christmas cookies

the best part of Christmas cookies?.... the icing!!

19 - Take toys to needy children (did not accomplish this)
20 - Visit St. Luke's nursing home with treats (did not accomplish this)
21 - Read the story about the birth of Jesus
22 - Celebrate Christmas with Gramma and Papa

23 - Have a pretend camp out in front of the Christmas tree

This didn't last very long.  He said that "the refrigerator was too loud".

24 - Celebrate Christmas in Springfield
25 - MERRY CHRISTMAS!!
