Welcome to Our Journey (#3)!: Happy Easter 2013

What a great, busy, fun day! All day all I could think about is the major difference one year makes...

Easter 2012

How crazy is that to look back?! However, I have to say that this year was alot more fun. Eli can walk on this own (run, really) and understood how to egg hunt better. We went to church this morning and Eli looked quite handsome in the pinstrip suit that Grammy Tammy got for him.

Since we live so far out in the country, the Easter Bunny got lost on his way to our house, but we knew the grandparents would make up for the Easter Bunny's slight.

After a nap and a couple hours at home, we went to Nana and Poppy's for Easter lunch. Uncle Lee loved helping Eli hunt for eggs. Eli still got distracted by every stick, dandelion, pile of leaves, etc, but still somehow found a basket-full. Since Grandma (Nana) hides MONEY in the eggs, even the adult children love hunting for them!! We all had a great time. THANK YOU G&G!

I love this picture... if you look at their serious expressions, I can just hear Uncle Lee saying, "ok, buddy, here's how we're going to attack this..." TOO FUNNY!

Then, for the final family gathering of the day, we went to the Sapp's house for another meal and another egg hunt. Since Eli has cousins close to his age there, he had to work harder for his share of the eggs. Thankfully, there was plenty of eggs so there weren't any squabbles.
