Thursday, August 1st, Aunt Abby and Uncle Zeb took Eli and I to see the Pixar Cars Route 66 Festival at the Drive-in Theatre. Eli was so excited! It was really neat and we had a great time. After "meeting" Mator and Lightening, eating dinner and snow cone, we got to watch Cars on the big screen. This was Eli's first time seeing it and really enjoyed it. Eli HAD to wear his Lightening McQueen shirt that Nana and Poppy got him; however, because Mator had flashing lights and moving parts, so Eli ended up favoring him instead.
