Sam and I married on May 22, 2004. In March 2006 we started trying to have a family. After multiple experiemental procedures and drugs, plus 2 back-to-back surgeries in May 2009, we decided to look into other avenues to expand our family. In 2010, we became licensed foster and adoptive parents, which is a whole other ordeal in itself. After 7 kids came through our care in a matter of 5 months, we knew this was not our route to follow. Thus, here's how we came to the point we are now:
On Dec. 13th, 2010, my Grandma Sheets sent us a letter in the mail telling us about an organization that she'd heard about called Adoption Answer. She didn't know anything about it but had a good feeling that we were supposed to call this phone number and find out more. So we did!...
